What we are asked most often before a booking.
How long does an AI production take?
Two to three weeks from briefing to finished commercial. You see the first visual world after 3-5 working days and know from then on whether the direction is right. A comparable project shot in the traditional style takes 10 to 12 weeks.
What does an AI commercial cost?
Length, the number and complexity of characters and the set determine the price. A short spot with one character in a simple setting needs far fewer iterations than a film with dialogue, several characters and elaborate worlds. After a short briefing, you get a transparent quote.
How realistic does it look?
The tools are getting better with every release, and in many scenes the results are hard to tell apart from live action. Where AI still reaches its limits, for example with exact physics, we combine it with classic postproduction.
Who owns the images?
Under German law, purely AI-generated content generally does not qualify for copyright protection. However, the human-created elements—such as the concept, script, editing, music, or live-action footage—may be protected. We transfer these rights to you, along with our rights under the license terms of the tools used, to the extent agreed upon. We cannot guarantee exclusivity over the pure AI output because the law does not provide for it.
Do I have to label the content?
Yes, if the content depicts realistic-looking people, places, or events that could appear to be real (Art. 50 AI Regulation, effective August 2, 2026). It does not matter whether the content was created entirely or only partially using AI. We always visibly label such content as "AI-generated" or "edited with AI."
Can a shoot and AI be combined?
Yes, we call it hybrid production. Product, face or location stay really filmed, while environments and scenes are generated. It pays off when something has to look exactly as it does on the shelf and the world around it can be invented freely.
